Best Bits 2024
Wow! We had such an amazing show in 2024 and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us – exhibitors, sponsors, florists, caterers, designers, the incredible staff at Hylands House and of course all of our wonderful visitors for coming out to see us.
The sun came out for the whole three days and we loved seeing you all enjoy your day with us in the glorious sunshine.

Don’t forget, The National Flower Show will be returning on Friday 16th, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025.

Grand Opening
It was so wonderful to see so many of you join us for our Grand Opening with our very own Marilyn Monroe and her photographer Johnny (direct from Hollywood) on Friday 17th May 2024. The duo also joined us on Saturday and Sunday to welcome guests to the show.
Hollywood at Hylands Floral Experience
In 2024 Hylands House was decorated throughout featuring fascinating floral designs inspired by films from the big screen. Award winning floral designer, MIG KIMPTON, curated a wonderful explosion of floral designs filling the house with flowers, foliage and fragrance.
Floral Art: People's Choice Award
New for 2024, we invited students from Writtle College to create their own floral designs around the theme of 'Hollywood Weddings'. There were 10 designs in total and our visitors had the chance to vote for their favourite to win a special People's Choice Award. The winner was 'A Hunger Games Wedding' designed by students Phoebe Wright and Amelia Govus.
Outdoor Plant Village
It wouldn't be a flower show without the key ingredient - flowers! And we had an amazing range of plants, bulbs and garden accessories on sale at our 2024 show.
Cream Teas & Cakes
We were delighted to welcome the Vintage Tea Room to the National Flower Show 2024 - they were very popular with our visitors serving Cream Teas and cakes across the three day show.
Garden Buildings
How stunning were the Garden Buildings at the 2024 show? We had our eyes on quite a few pieces across the weekend.
Garden Furniture
There was a great range of garden furniture at the event in 2024 with many at show discounted prices! Did you treat your garden to some new furniture?
Home & Country Living Pavilion
If you stepped inside our Home & Country Living Pavilion, it would have been almost impossible to leave without making a purchase or two. There were some truly stunning handmade pieces on offer including artwork, handbags and jewellery.
Outdoor Shopping
With hundreds of exhibitors at our 2024 event, there were plenty of gardening goodies to be found in our Outside Shopping Area from garden ornaments and clothing to plant pots and even hot tubs!
Plant Creche
We were joined by Hopefield Animal Sanctuary to run our 2024 Plant Creche at the show. The team happily looked after your shopping while you enjoyed the rest of the show. All donations went straight to helping the animals in their care.
Craft & Gift Pavilion
There was such a variety of products inside our Craft and Gift Pavilion and it was great to see how popular it was with our visitors.
Fine Food & Drink Pavilion
Did you take a look inside our Fine Food & Drink Pavilion? It was impossible not to be tempted to buy some of the tasty products our exhibitors were selling inside.
Live Music
We were delighted to be joined by local songstress Hollie-Blue who got the crowds singing and dancing along to popular hits and loveable classics across the three day show. On Friday and Sunday we were also joined by the wonderful Sound Collective Choir.
Fun & Games
As a new addition to the National Flower Show, visitors could enjoy a selection of free lawn games at the show including Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Croquet and more.
Visitors
It made our whole weekend to see so many of you leaving with arms (and even trollies) full of bargains! We hope you all enjoyed your time with us and we'll see you again for our 2025 show!
