Best Bits 2023
Wow! We had such an amazing show in 2023 and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us – exhibitors, sponsors, florists, caterers, designers, the incredible staff at Hylands House and of course all of our wonderful visitors for coming out to see us.
Although the weather was a little wet on the Friday, the sun was shining for the rest of the weekend and it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.
We’ve put together a collection of our favourite moments from our 2023 show below…
Don’t forget, The National Flower Show will be returning on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May 2024.

Grand Opening
It was so wonderful to see so many of you join us for our Grand Opening with our very own Doctor Dolittle on Friday 19th May 2023. Doctor Dolittle also joined us on Saturday and Sunday to welcome guests to the show.
Doctor Dolittle Floral Experience
In 2023 Hylands House was decorated throughout featuring fascinating floral designs inspired from Doctor Dolittle - the fictional doctor who could talk to animals. Award winning floral designer, MIG KIMPTON, curated a wonderful explosion of floral designs filling the house with flowers, foliage and fragrance.
Outdoor Plant Village
It wouldn't be a flower show without the key ingredient - flowers! And we had an amazing range of plants, bulbs and garden accessories on sale at our 2023 show.
Cream Teas & Cakes
We were delighted to welcome the Vintage Tea Room to the National Flower Show 2023 - they were very popular with our visitors serving Cream Teas and cakes across the three day show.
Selfie Stations
We loved seeing everyones selfies on social media from the weekend, both inside our Doctor Dolittle Floral Experience and on the Giant Deckchair at the front of the show!
Garden Buildings & Furniture
How stunning were the Garden Buildings and furniture at the 2023 show? We had our eyes on quite a few pieces across the weekend.
Home & Country Living Pavilion
If you stepped inside our Home & Country Living Pavilion, it would have been almost impossible to leave without making a purchase or two. There were some truly stunning handmade pieces on offer including artwork, silk flowers and jewellery.
Outdoor Shopping
With hundreds of exhibitors at our 2023 event, there were plenty of gardening goodies to be found in our Outside Shopping Area from lawn mowers and hot tubs to garden ornaments, clothing and plant pots.
Craft & Gift Pavilion
There was such a variety of products inside our Craft and Gift Pavilion and it was great to see how popular it was with our visitors.
Fine Food & Drink Pavilion
Did you take a look inside our Fine Food & Drink Pavilion? It was impossible not to be tempted to buy some of the tasty products our exhibitors were selling inside.

We were delighted to welcome Sofas & Stuff as our Headline Sponsors for the National Flower Show 2023. Sofas & Stuff had a beautiful display inside Hylands House under the Grand Staircase, as well as an outside stand in the Main Walkway of the show.
Visitors
It made our whole weekend to see so many of you leaving with arms (and even trollies) full of bargains! We hope you all enjoyed your time with us and we'll see you again for our 2024 show!
