Plant Creche

We’re delighted to welcome Hopefield Animal Sanctuary to the National Flower Show 2026, who will be running a special Plant Creche on all three days of the show.

After joining us for the past two years, the team are returning this May and will be on hand to look after all the plant and flower purchases you make at the show, so that you don’t have to carry them around with you.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the organisers of the National Flower Show for inviting us back for the third year in a row to run their Plant Crèche,” says Sophie from the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.

“This partnership means so much to us. While visitors enjoy the show, we’re able to “babysit” their beautiful plant purchases in return for donations — and every single pound raised goes directly towards the care of our 700 rescued animals here at the sanctuary.

“At a time when our daily running costs continue to rise, opportunities like this truly make a difference. It’s a simple idea, but one that has such a powerful impact — helping us feed, shelter, and provide vital care to animals who would have had nowhere else to go.

“To the National Flower Show team — thank you for your continued support, and for giving us this platform to raise essential funds. And to everyone who uses the Plant Crèche or pops by for a chat — your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.”

The Plant Creche will be available while the show is open from 9.30am – 4.30pm on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026. The show takes place at Hylands House & Estate in Chelmsford.
