NEW: SAFARI THEME

This year at Hylands House we are taking our visitors on a Safari, with BIG designs and lots of animals to see, all led by our very own intrepid explorer Jungle Jim.

Join him and discover the animals drinking at the waterhole; there will be elephants, rhinos and waterhogs. View from afar a selection of big wild cats from tigers to lions and see what creatures interrupt a safari supper – all sorts of creepy crawlies!

The talented group of designers will create unique settings to accommodate all our visiting animals.

We’re inviting students from Writtle College to design NINE stunning floral exhibits inside Hylands House as part of this year’s Floral Experience – and the best part is YOU will have the chance to vote for your favourite.

In the Safari Design Room students from Writtle College will create floral exhibits with an African Coronation theme.

Once the National Flower Show has opened on Friday 16th May, you will be able to vote for your favourite design on our Facebook page. Voting will close at 3pm on Sunday 18th May when the winner will be officially announced at the show.

Last year’s winners were students Amelia Govus and Phoebe Wright who designed a stunning piece inspired by the Hunger Games for our Hollywood Wedding Theme – who will this year’s winners be?
